This five storey hotel enjoys a nice location on Qingnian Lu, close to the market and about 43km from the railway station. The hotel offers basic three-bed dorms and smarter doubles. Outside, there is a nice grapevine-trellis covered courtyard, where you can sample fruit juices and fine wines during the summer. In the evenings, there are fun displays by local singers and dancers held in the courtyard. Some of the rooms here are equipped with air-conditioning and TV. The Moslem Restaurant offers a tasty and a hearty variety of standard Uigur dishes. Within the hotel, there is a small swimming pool,a gift shop, beauty salon, post office, travel office, business center and meeting room. John's Information Cafe is right opposite the hotel. This cafe is the only place in town where you can get good western food, prices are reasonable and most of the donkey cart and minibus drivers hang around here. The Turpan Hotel ( Tulufan binguan ), with its  good location, quiet rooms and good service has become one of the popular places in Turpan with western travelers.
